Refund & Shipping Policy

 Welcome to Pinelands.in(“we,” “our,” “us”). This Refund and Shipping Policy governs all online orders and deliveries made through our website www.pinelands.in (“Website” or “Store”). By making a purchase, you agree to the following terms. 

1. General Refund Terms

  • Due to the perishable nature of food products, no refunds, returns, or cancellations are permitted once an order has been confirmed and processed.
  • Refunds are only applicable to non-food items (if any) that are damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered.

2. Conditions for Refund Eligibility

Refunds are processed only under the following conditions:

  • The wrong non-food product was delivered.
  • The product was not delivered due to non-availability.
  • If any of these apply, you must notify us within 5 hours of delivery by emailing support@pinelands.in with your order details and clear photographs and videos of the issue. 

3. Refund Process

  • Once your claim is verified and approved, a refund will be initiated to your original payment method.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–15 working days, in accordance with the CPR.
  • In rare cases of payment gateway delay, your bank’s refund cycle may extend this period slightly.

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • All fresh and perishable food items, such as fruits, vegetables, or processed agricultural produce, are strictly non-refundable and non-returnable.

5. Partial or Exceptional Refunds

  •  If refunds are approved under exceptional circumstances, administrative charges may apply. Refunds, if processed, will typically amount to a percentage of the original payment to cover order-handling or logistics costs. 

6. Legal Right to Refund

  • Refunds comply with Indian consumer laws guaranteeing buyers’ rights for defective or undelivered items under the CPA.

Shipping Policy

1. Dispatch and Delivery

  • Orders are usually dispatched within 2–5 working days after payment confirmation.
  • Average delivery duration is:
  • Domestic Deliveries (India): 3–7 working days
  • International Deliveries: 7–15 working days, subject to customs clearance times.
  • All delivery times are estimates; delays due to logistics or weather are outside our control. 

2. Shipping Charges

  • Delivery charges are displayed on the checkout page before payment.
  • Large-volume or special shipments may incur additional charges, which will be communicated prior to dispatch. 

3. Damaged or Wrong Deliveries

  • Inspect the goods upon receipt. If an incorrect or damaged order is received, notify us within 5 hours of delivery by sending photos, videos and details to support@pinelands.in.
  • Once verified, we will either resend the item if applicable or initiate a refund only for eligible non-food items. 

4. No Cancellation after Dispatch

  • Orders cannot be canceled after they are dispatched due to the perishable nature of goods.
  • Any exceptional cancellation requests must be made before dispatch and will be approved solely at the company’s discretion. 

5. International Shipping

  • For overseas shipments, local duties, customs, and import taxes (if any) are the buyer’s responsibility.
  • We use reputed international logistics partners to ensure product integrity and timely delivery. 

6. Delays

  • While all shipments are handled with care, delays may occur due to courier constraints, natural events, or regulatory checks. Pinelands Canning Private Limited shall not be held liable for such delays.

  • Under the DPDPA, our designated Grievance Officer will respond to refund- or data-related complaints within 7 days of receipt.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • This Refund and Shipping Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of including the CPR, and the DPDPA.
    All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra, India.
